Koolat Safety commenced our operations as an RTO in July 2007, when the prescribed occupations system was transferred to the VET system and, we have focussed our energy on providing the highest level of quality training possible across the scope of all High Risk Work Licencing (HRW). This work includes tower crane, self erecting tower crane, slewing mobile cranes from vehicle loading to mobile slewing cranes capable of lifting loads up to and over 100 tonnes. We also provide courses for associated HRW licences such as dogging, all levels of rigging, scaffolding, work platforms, hoists and forklift trucks.As we continue to provide our specialised HRW Licence Training, we also offer our clients accredited short courses from the Resources and infrastructure RII units of competencies including, training for Gantry Crane, Work Safely at Heights, Enter and Work in Confined Spaces, Breathing Apparatus, Traffic Control and 4WD Driver Training.Training can be delivered at our Industry skills Centres on the Gold Coast and in Sydney or if preferred we come to you and provide on-site and in-house training. Through effective safety training we promote a safe work culture, and encourage individuals and business to strive for superior outcomes that can reduce the number of injuries and deaths, property damage, legal liability, illnesses, workers’ compensation claims, and missed time from work.Koolat Safety is owned and operated by industry experts. Senior management and training personnel at Koolat Safety have all progressed from being industry employees to highly regarded trainers and assessors in their own specialised areas of expertise. All trainers and assessors have relevant and current industry experience in the areas they train and assess in.
