Neil's Transport is a family owned company that has been in business for 70 years. Our mission is to provide excellence in customer service and reliability based around competitive pricing and innovation as well as providing a safe work environment for all our employees.We specialize in road transport for the building, construction and mining industries.The Establishment date of Neil's Transport P/L was in 1946 when Erle Neil commenced supplying and carrying timber for the local merchants in the Southern Riverina area of New South Wales and Northern Central areas of Victoria in an army blitz prime mover, with a 9 metre single axle trailer.Over the progressing years the transport business varied according to the economy and Government controls. By the early 1960's the main operation was stock cartage and some general products, i.e. bagged cement and drums of fuel, with 6 'S' model Bedford prime movers.At this time Jan Neil (Erle's son) became involved in the business and progressed to be General Manager. The business was sold to Wm. Charlick Ltd in 1978 at which time there were some 40-company vehicles plus 40 permanent sub-contractors. The company was also involved in bulk commodities and palletised storage for such companies as Murray Goulburn Co-Op,Ricegrowers, Woolworths, AWB, NSW Grain Board, and various other companies.
