THE STORY BEHIND THE SUCCESS

Founded in 2005, 3-D Materials Management is the vision of Michael Mraz, whose four decades’ experience in Operations and Management for RCRA Treatment, Storage & Disposal Facilities served as the ideal proving ground for a new approach to waste stream and obsolete materials management.

Our technical expertise, combined with our consultative approach, is at the heart of that approach. As a true partner, we bring together the various elements each client needs to grow and prosper. Far more than disposing of wastes, 3-D Materials provides added value by proposing ideas that lead to more strategic decisions, and providing solutions to larger issues.

Originally focused on solvent reclamation in bulk, the scope of 3-D Materials’ operations expanded in early 2020 with the acquisition of Morgan Environmental Services & Absorbants (M.E.S.A.). With those additional capabilities, staff and expertise, we went on to form Makha Environmental Services and Applications as a division of 3-D Materials. (Fittingly, Makha is a Lakota Sioux word meaning “earth.”)

Today, along with solvents, our scope of operations includes spent, used, obsolete and even virgin materials for which a given client no longer has productive use.

The same extensive, constantly growing network that provides added value from waste streams has proven ideal as the conduit to “continued use” for lightly used, off-spec and excess materials… keeping them in commerce and providing additional ROI.

Together, 3-D Materials and Makha Environmental Services can help clients generate additional value from their spent, surplus and off-spec products, whether in drums, tankers, rail cars or barges, in multiple locations across the continent.
