Harvest Nano Inc: Textile-to-Cellulose/NanoCellulose Custom-Machines.

Harvest Nano Inc is an inventor-led company developing textile recycling → cellulose/nanocellulose materials through our complex, custom-made machines. Our work supports domestic circular manufacturing and high-value reuse of textile waste.

In 2023, Harvest Nano licensed its Textile waste IP/technology to Goodwill Industries of West Michigan to build a textile circularity machine, converting unsellable cotton textiles into higher-value cellulose and nanocellulose products. In October 2024, Goodwill publicly announced our joint effort to create andoperate Michigan’s first cotton waste textile circularity operative processing and recycling plant, turning non-saleable textile waste into cellulosic raw materials and nanocellulose. That milestone matters because the world is producing fiber at record levels, 124 million tons in 2023, while true textile-to-textile recycling remains a small fraction of the system. 

We are alsograteful to Grand Haven Community Area for a grant. A $250,000 CommunityImpact Grant supported Goodwill’s “Cellulose Creation from Waste Textiles” project, specifically noting the collaboration with Harvest Nano.
