Norwalk Pallets was founded in 2008 by a team of logistics-minded entrepreneurs who saw something the rest of the industry had been ignoring for years: the massive, avoidable waste created by single-use pallet culture. What started as a single truck and a 5,000-square-foot yard in Norwalk, Connecticut has since grown into the state's most trusted name in pallet supply, repair, recycling, and custom manufacturing.

Today, we operate out of a 40,000-square-foot facility on Wilson Avenue, staffed by 47 full-time employees who share a single mission: to make the pallet industry smarter, greener, and more reliable. We process and distribute more than 180,000 pallets every year — from standard 48×40 GMA pallets to fully custom-built units engineered for specific loads, rack systems, and export requirements. Every pallet that passes through our facility is inspected, graded, and either reconditioned for reuse or responsibly recycled.

Our client base spans five states across the Northeast — Connecticut, New York, New Jersey, Massachusetts, and Rhode Island — and includes manufacturers, third-party logistics companies, food and beverage distributors, pharmaceutical operations, and e-commerce fulfillment centers. We maintain a fleet of eight delivery trucks, enabling same-day and next-day delivery across our entire service area. For many of our customers, we serve as their sole pallet vendor, handling everything from weekly recurring deliveries to emergency same-day rushes.

What truly sets Norwalk Pallets apart is our commitment to environmental stewardship. We divert 97% of all incoming pallet material from landfills. Wood that can't be reused as pallets is processed into mulch, animal bedding, or biomass fuel. Metal fasteners are separated and sent to scrap recyclers. We track every unit that enters and exits our facility through a proprietary inventory management system, giving our clients full transparency into their supply chain's environmental impact.

Beyond our day-to-day operations, we're deeply embedded in the Norwalk community. We sponsor local youth sports leagues, participate in annual cleanup drives along the Norwalk River, and partner with Fairfield County vocational programs to provide hands-on trade experience to young adults. We believe that a business is only as strong as the community it serves — and we work every day to prove it.
