How We Got Started

Junkin' came about when our family planned a massive multifamily tag sale. We (Kevin & Jen) found ourselves short on items to sell. To remedy this, we ventured out during dump collections, discovering valuable treasures discarded by others. As interest grew, we became known for our 'dump picking' excursions, prompting requests for home pickups. An innovative twist emerged: Splitting profits equally with those whose items sold. This unique model inspired Junkin', setting us apart from traditional junk removal services. Now we serve New Haven & Fairfield counties with all their junk removal needs.

Recycle & Charity

We professionally clean, repair, and resell items from your unwanted junk at budget-friendly prices. Items that don’t find a new home are donated to charity.
