Who We Are

Junk Shift started with a single dump trailer and a simple goal: build something from the ground up that could actually make a difference. After watching a YouTube video that sparked the idea, our founder took the leap, financed the equipment, got to work, and quickly realized there was real demand for reliable junk removal in Western North Carolina.

As jobs kept rolling in and the trailer kept filling up, it became clear that it was time to grow. We shifted our focus from hands-on junk removal to roll-off dumpsters that are easier on the body, faster for the customer, and built for scale. That change didn’t just make business sense—it made long-term sense.

Today, Junk Shift is a local operation built on hustle, trust, and showing up for people when they need it most. We don’t cut corners or chase volume. We do solid work, earn repeat business, and build something sustainable one delivery at a time.
