Recycling

Second only to water, concrete is the most consumed material on the planet with 25 billion tons produced worldwide each year. Concrete is one of the last things anyone thinks to recycle. At the Holroyd Green Plant we take in concrete and asphalt from all sources and process it into WSDOT (Washington State Department of Transportation) specifications aggregate to be used for new buildings, roads and other construction projects.

Concrete is a 100% renewable resource with 140 million tons recycled in the US annually. Every ton that is recycled is one less ton in the landfills. In the ten years that we have been producing sustainable GREEN aggregates, we have had success ranging from small to large projects from our 74th Street plant in Tacoma WA.
