Groome, Inc. began working its way into other industrial markets and expanding its services beyond just commercial painting.

In the early 90’s, J. M. Groome, Inc. changed its name to J.M. Groome Company and started offering services in the power generation industry beginning in the waste-to-energy and fossil fuel markets.

In 2007, J.M. Groome Company made its move into the natural gas turbine market, performing its first maintenance service on a heat recovery steam generator (HRSG). Two years later in 2009, J. M. Groome Company changed its name to Groome Industrial Service Group and began offering a full line of HRSG maintenance services

Today, with the addition of strategic acquisitions and highly skilled personnel across the country, Groome Industrial Service Group is now positioned as the vendor of choice for most industrial maintenance and mechanical services.

SCR Catalyst Disposal

Our industry partnerships allow us to take the headache and guesswork out of the proper disposal of spent catalysts. Catalysts are transported off-site, all steel is recycled and the catalyst is mechanically deconstructed.
