We've partnered with Helpsy, the largest textile collection company in the Northeast, to keep clothing and fabrics out of the landfill.

Why It Matters

Helpsy is a Certified B Corp that collected over 25 million pounds of textiles last year.

95% of items are reused, upcycled, or recycled:

75% are resold to thrift shops and secondhand markets

20% are turned into industrial rags, insulation, or stuffing

Textile waste is one of the biggest contributors to global pollution. Every shirt you recycle helps lighten that load.

• Shoes (even singles!)
• Towels, linens, and bedding

Composting at The O Zone

The O Zone is proud to partner with Laughing Fox Farm to turn local food scraps into nutrient-rich compost.

Laughing Fox Farm is partnered with Ulster County Resource Recovery Agency! They operate a large-scale industrial composting facility that transforms food waste into high-quality, locally produced compost.

Together, we’re keeping valuable organic material out of landfills and returning it to the soil.
