Our mission is to ensure that every single installed renewable energy component is reused, repurposed, or recycled.

Who we are

Renewable Salvage, LLC provides renewable energy system salvage valuation reports and end-to-end scrap metal recycling services. We address recycling needs throughout all stages of the project life-cycle for asset owners, developers, EPCs, and O&M providers, across the continental United States.

Why we do this

Most companies in the renewables industry treat recycling as an afterthought. Materials are often disposed of improperly, contractors are taken advantage of when selling scrap metal, and many components go to landfills. The International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA) estimates that by 2050 over 78 million tons of PV modules alone will be discarded. We believe this represents a looming waste crisis that can be averted through responsible and proactive recycling practices. 

Renewable Salvage strives to advance the clean energy transition by ensuring that all renewable energy system components are recycled, which will ultimately reduce hard and soft costs for asset owners, developers, and contractors alike.
