OUR HISTORY

We are a recycling company solely specializing in street light fixtures. Established in 2011, we have grown to provide recycling for city-wide street light retrofits working directly with cities, municipalities, utilities, and contractors to provide recycling solutions. Laurel Environmental Group is based in California, but we handle projects all over the country.

MEET THE FOUNDER

Born and raised in rural Wisconsin, Laurel Harrop exhibited her entrepreneurial drive early on. Over her formative years, she experimented with a number of small business ventures paving the way to the cultivation of her business today. Laurel Environmental was established in 2011.

Laurel Harrop was a recipient of the 2015 Eileen Fisher Women Owned Business Grant. The grant supports innovative woman-owned companies that have the potential for positive social and environmental impact. Laurel was also a finalist in 2016 for Tory Burch Foundation and is an alumni of the Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses program.
