Since 2012, we’ve been refining the BlueBarrel Rainwater Catchment System™—a proven design that combines repurposed food-grade barrels with a unique, underplumbed design for the most functional approach to gravity-fed irrigation.

Our roots go back to 2010, when our founder built her first system as an AmeriCorps project. Today, we’ve grown into the only nationwide retailer focused exclusively on rain barrels and gravity-fed irrigation, helping thousands of households across the USA harvest rainwater with confidence.

BlueBarrel is based in northern California, but many don’t realize we serve customers all over the USA (and beyond) with our user friendly DIY RainKits™ and recycled plastic barrels!
