Connell Resources is an established General Contractor. We’ve been serving the Northern Colorado region since 1946. The company was founded as Loveland Excavating Company and operated under that name until 1982 when we moved our operations from Loveland to Fort Collins and renamed the company Connell Resources, Inc. after the company owner Richard “Ben” Connell. Today Connell Resources remains a family-owned, employee-focused company dedicated to employee safety, quality workmanship, and a positive lasting impact in the Northern Colorado community.

Connell Resources has evolved from modest roots of excavating basements and performing small grading and utility projects to be one of the largest locally-based, full-service sitework and infrastructure general contractors in Northern Colorado. We have the ability and desire to complete heavy-civil and sitework infrastructure projects of any size, scope, or complexity. Our specialties include mass earthwork, pipeline utilities, pipeline rehabilitation including trenchless technologies, structural concrete, asphalt pavement, and asphalt maintenance. We own and operate several gravel pits throughout Northern Colorado in addition to fixed location and portable asphalt batch plants. Connell Resources is licensed to perform infrastructure work in all cities and counties along Colorado’s front range and throughout southern Wyoming. We are also a pre-qualified general contractor with the Colorado Department of Transportation and the Wyoming Department of Transportation.

Crushing and Aggregate Production Services

Connell Resources produces aggregate products for both internal construction needs and materials for other contractors and public sale. We routinely process gravel resources including development, crushing, sales, and pit reclamation. We produce specification aggregates for internal asphalt production, aggregate base course materials, materials for pipe bedding, retaining wall backfill, and other structural fill needs. Connell Resources is proud to produce specification recycled aggregate materials at our pit in Fort Collins including RAP for use in asphalt pavement materials and recycled concrete and asphalt base course. We accept clean asphalt and concrete rubble.
