Oklo Inc.

3190 Coronado Dr, Santa Clara, California, United States | Liquid Oils and Chemicals Recycling

FUEL RECYCLING

Oklo's reactors can convert used nuclear fuel into clean energy. Today's reactors use about 5% of the energy content contained in their fuel, meaning nearly 95% of the energy content remains unused.

Oklo’s Advanced Recycling Facility

Oklo is building the nation’s first privately funded nuclear fuel recycling facility in Oak Ridge, Tennessee. This $1.68 billion investment will create more than 800 high-quality jobs while establishing a secure, domestic fuel supply for advanced reactors like our Aurora powerhouse.

Proliferation resistant

Advanced recycling techniques keep transuranic materials together to fuel Oklo’s reactors and do not create pure material streams. This is a unique enabling feature of fast reactors.

Oklo is uniquely positioned to recycle nuclear waste, helping solve waste challenges while fueling its reactors and cutting costs.

Oklo has also been selected for four U.S. Department of Energy projects totaling over $15 million to develop waste-to-energy fuel recycling.
