Ford Asphalt Company is a large St. Louis-based commercial asphalt and concrete paving company. Since our founding in 1975, we’ve prided ourselves on providing high quality services to our clients in and around the St. Louis area.

We’re incredibly proud that over 90% of our work is repeat business, which tells us we’re effectively working with our clients to solve their problems. But don’t get us wrong, we like new clients, too!

Who We Work With

At Ford Asphalt Company, we do approximately 70% of our asphalt paving on commercial parking lots and about 30% on municipal streets and roads. Additionally, nearly 100% of our concrete work is commercial.

We’re one of the few paving companies of our size in St. Louis that doesn’t work for builders, developers or general contractors. Recycling Processes

Asphalt Recycling

 A common practice that has economic and environmental benefits is asphalt recycling. The process involves milling the old asphalt, which is then combined with fresh binders to create a new mixture. According to the National Asphalt Pavement Association, asphalt comprises about 95 percent aggregate, which can be recycled, and 5 percent binder, which may require replacement or rejuvenation. This technique conserves natural resources and reduces the need for new materials. Asphalt recycling not only diminishes waste but also provides a cost-effective solution for roadway maintenance.
