Our goal is to give everyone the opportunity to play their part in recycling and reusing everyday green waste. We can show you how easy it is to take what we call “green waste” (most others call it garbage), and turn it into the best stuff on earth - Vermi Green Compost- Rich, nutrient filled compost with organic matter.

What We Do

Our operation is focused around one question… “What more can we do to help you live green?”

After all, if we bring these practices into our homes, our children will bring them into theirs.

“In 1989 my father purchased our first pound of Red Worms. Composting became a staple in our lives. Wanting to share this way of life, in 1998, we opened Heb’s Worm Farm in Shortsville, NY. Over the next decade I learned everything and anything I could about organic composting. In 2008 I founded Vermi-Green LLC. Since then, the business has grown to include a facility in Palmyra/ Farmington, NY. It is now our turn, as a community, to lead the way into a composting era... and Vermi-Green LLC is here to help!”
