We have a Milling Machine to RECYCLE your old blacktop while allowing for a smooth transition from old to new. This speaks volumes about our values here at Hartshorn Paving. Using state of the art equipment such as a blacktop saw and Infrared Asphalt Heater, we can preserve integral tar oils while repairing any blacktop necessary to ensure that your driveway meets our professional standards. PAVEMENT GRINDING, MILLING & RECYCLING

Recycling Blacktop or Milling is when asphalt pavement is ground up with a milling machine for reconstruction from your present surface and crushed into a fine substance. This reclaimed material is then mixed with virgin aggregate (Item #4) and applied to the road or driveway base.

Reclaimed asphalt millings are both environmentally friendly and economical. By recycling the asphalt it not only keeps the waste out of landfills and cuts down on pollution created during the production of new asphalt, but also condenses construction costs for YOU and reduces the cost of transporting the materials.
