Nelson Disposal LLC is a small, family-run garbage company serving Grayson County, KY.

Our Story

Nelson Disposal LLC was formed in June 2023 after struggling with the mental health balance of working in concrete construction in Louisville/Indiana/Ohio. Driving anywhere between 1–3 hours one-way to work for a combined 25+ years, we decided to get out of construction.

Myself (Andy) and my dad (Paul) started the business as a way for us to work together and provide the community what is needed the most: a reliable garbage company with a consistent schedule you can count on.

We are a small company with dreams of growing. We started with a 2007 F-150 (250,000+ miles) and a wood rack on the back—just a dream and a route sheet. By late June into July 2023, we had only 20–30 customers. Today, we’re proud to be serving 500+ customers and growing with our community.

We take pride in what we do as it’s the future we’re building for our family—something our little ones can grow into. We care about the individual needs of each customer and make sure the job is done right.

We remain fairly priced for our market so everyone can access the services they need—while offering flexible ways to pay.
