Our Mission & Purpose

Why?

For too long, people have thought of organic materials, especially food scraps, as waste. That could not be further from the truth. Not only are they not waste, they are the very materials that will help us grow more food, plants, flowers, and trees in the future.

Goal

Our goal is to educate, inform, teach, and learn more so that instead, we can turn these materials into something positive for the Earth, us as people, and the future. We want to do what is right for the planet, our resources, the people, and future generations.

Education

We would like to educate people, especially young people, on the importance of being mindful of our resources and waste. We want to let others know how we can be part of a beautiful, natural process that already exists if we do our part to be a part of it.

Community

We would like to work with local people both at home and at their businesses to build relationships and connections in order to do what is best for our resources. We would also like to make these connections to form lasting friendships, relationships, and partnerships that will make for a more fulfilling life.

Love

We want to give to others the love we have been fortunate enough to have. We want to share that with others so they can do the same. We would like to give as much positivity as possible to those around us while operating a business. Composting is about more than just food scraps and soil, it is a way of thinking and living. We believe in second chances, hope and the better things to come, even when those things are thought of as nothing more than waste or trash.

Purposeful Work

We would like to make a living doing something that we love surrounded by people that we love doing it with. We want to be able to support a family, friends, and community by doing something very important to us that we are extremely passionate about.
