Mike Byrne, like many entrepreneurs of that generation, started the business out of a garage in downtown Mansfield, OH in 1966. For over 50 years MBM has been a driving force in Trenchless Technology with advances in technology, safety, and innovative ideas derived directly from customer interaction. MBM machines are recognized as extremely durable for the rigors of the underground construction industry. MBM is the only Auger Boring Manufacturer that integrates its own EXTREME DUTY gearbox designed for the rugged underground construction contractor. MBM remains a family owned business and is the longest continuous manufacturer of Auger Boring Machines in the USA.

Since 1980 we have designed and manufactured turnkey hazardous waste disposal equipment solutions (i.e., drum excavation for removal and treatment of liquid or solid waste materials from 55 Gallon Drums, or material handling equipment for hazardous waste disposal) to many environmental organizations, communities and companies.
