Our mission is to interrupt the cycle by which nutrient-rich green waste is buried in a landfill. By saving and redirecting this green waste, we can produce top-quality mulches and soil blends from natural, locally sourced feedstock. 

Why Casco ORGANICS

Casco Organics stemmed from Casco Hauling and Excavating, a family-owned, multi-generational Type IV construction and demolition waste landfill. After decades of seeing useful items be brought in as waste, a more sustainable and ecologically conscious path was forged. Green waste was in our sites. What is green waste? It’s the raw trees, shrubs and other small plants that are removed for various reasons (such as land clearing for new construction). While there are recycling outlets for metals, aggregates and paper products (we are working on plastics solutions), green waste was a part of the waste stream ripe for an overhaul. Casco Organics is unique in that we possess all of the ingredients to breathe new life into this green waste and produce the highest quality mulches and soil blends; an “organic” progression of our operations.
