General Recycled Ltd.

Val-Des-Sources, Quebec, Canada | Textile Recycling

General Recycled provides a closed loop recycling program for non-biodegradable flame resistant used garments and fabrics at the end of their useful life cycle.

We established General Recycled Ltd. in 2012 to combat the growing problem of non-biodegradable Flame Resistant (FR) garments and fabrics being disposed of in landfills.

Our unique recycling process, and our resulting recycled FR fibre, yarn, and fabrics, provides industry with a viable recycling option for this non-biodegradable waste stream.

Canada is a leader in environmental stewardship and General Recycled's FR recycling initiative is a 100% Made in Canada solution. We welcome the opportunity to continue the recycling conversation with end-users, manufacturers, and their value chain of garment suppliers.

Our head office is in Burnaby, British Columbia and our operations facilities are in Val-des-Sources, Quebec and Leduc, Alberta.
