Full Circle Sustainability

Who We Are

Full Circle Sustainability is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit founded in July 2023 with the mission of making low-waste living easier. We aim to create and increase access to sustainable systems, particularly those that support local food production and waste reduction.

What We Do

Our flagship program is our home-delivery service that brings together produce and food items from local farmers and producers. We also carry pantry goods, liquid soap sold by the ounce, and other local and minimally packaged home products. Our in-person shop serves as a TerraCycle collection site, where you can drop off most household materials that cannot be recycled through Topeka’s municipal recycling program.

We’re located in the CRC CARE Center at the former Stout Elementary School, 2303 SW College Ave., Room 19, Topeka, KS 66611. Come visit us on Friday evenings from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m. or Saturdays from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Ordering and Delivery

Order online Sunday through Wednesday for delivery on Thursday or pickup on Friday or Saturday. We deliver within the Topeka area for free when you spend $15 or more. Or pick up your order for free at our shop on Friday from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m. or Saturdays from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. where you can also shop in person.

Our History

The idea for Full Circle came about in late 2019 when founders Robert Riley and Justine Greve met and started talking about the need for easier access to local produce, bulk grocery items, and services that would allow busy people to live more sustainable lives. Robert took the first step toward this goal in 2020 with the creation of Topeka Growers Group, a collection of farmers and producers in the Topeka area coming together to provide easier access to locally grown food. TGG soon expanded to include a soap refill service and minimally packaged home and body products.

As they talked more about the new products they wanted to offer and the different projects they wanted to pursue, Robert and Justine realized that TGG needed to become something bigger. With the goal of providing community education and offering services for waste reduction as well as groceries, their earliest visions of a “sustainability hub” were coming into focus. They got to work creating a nonprofit, which was incorporated in July 2023.

We believe that living sustainably—in a way that supports the health of our communities, ourselves, and our planet—should be something we all think about. But it shouldn’t be something we have to think about all the time.

With the right systems in place, we can make choices that are good for the environment without feeling like it's a burden and without sacrificing the things we love. We can live full lives, without the waste.

Come with us on a journey to create those systems. Order fresh, seasonal, local grocery items and support producers practicing sustainable agriculture right here in northeast Kansas. Refill your soap bottles to reduce plastic waste, and drop off your hard-to-recycle materials for the TerraCycle program.

So much in our society is based on straight lines—from the oil field to the factory to the landfill. But those lines lead to a future we can’t sustain. Let's replace those lines with circles and with systems that reduce and reuse, regenerate and restore. Let’s try turning around in order to move forward and see how much better this spinning
ball can be.

Recycling & Composting

From providing a basic recycling option for those who don't have curbside service to serving as a TerraCycle drop-off spot and a compost bin swap location, Full Circle wants to make it easier for you to give your waste a second life!
