NextCycle Michigan

NextCycle Michigan is an initiative of the Michigan Department of Environment, Great Lakes, and Energy (EGLE) that provides tools, resources, expert consulting, and investment pathways to support growing businesses and organizations focused on material recovery, reuse, recycling, and manufacturing using recycled content.

NextCycle Michigan participants include entrepreneurs, start-ups, businesses, organizations, and local governments who can help divert materials from landfill in Michigan. They have the unique opportunity to work with peers and industry experts to improve their business models and project plans, connect with a robust network of like-minded innovators, and identify potential funding pathways to make their vision a reality.

NextCycle Michigan projects can create Michigan jobs, have positive environmental and climate impacts, and provide equitable opportunities for individuals and communities from all corners of the state.
