One of the best ways to divert these organic materials from the landfill is through composting, which produces a nutrient-rich dirt that has an incredibly positive impact on soil health. Therefore the City of Albany, with help from the Radix Ecological Sustainability Center, is excited to offer three options to City of Albany residents to help them dispose of organic waste in a responsible and beneficial way so that it doesn’t end up in the trash.
