Recycling Jackson’s purpose is to help provide a clean, healthy environment in Jackson County through Recycling. We are a not-for-profit organization and we DO NOT receive any government funding. This is why we have fees to recycle certain items.

WHAT WE RECYCLE

• Plastic bottles, container and packaging
• Batteries: must be sorted into alkaline, lithium and rechargeable batteries
• Styrofoam
• Cardboard boxes, please flatten
• Office paper of all types
• Boxboard (gift boxes, cereal and food packaging) separate from cardboard.
• Aluminum foil, pans, trays (emptied and rinsed).
• CLEAN food and beverage cartons (such as milk, juice, soup, wine boxes)
• Paper milk cartons and aseptic containers
• Strings of tree lights, old extension cords, etc.
• Most electronics
• Small appliances, refrigerators and freezers, Freon charge applies
• WE TAKE GLASS!! There is a $1 surcharge for glass to help off-set our program costs.
