BCOS - Bulk Cooking Oil Solutions

BCOS is a locally owned company. We provide fresh cooking oil supply, waste cooking oil collection, and cooking oil management equipment to South Florida restaurants.

We live by the golden rule – “Treat others as you wish to be treated”. We refer to this rule when making all significant business decisions. We strive to build long lasting, mutually beneficial relationships with our customers. We are honest, and ethical in an industry where that is hard to find. We make mistakes, but we make up for them, and learn from our errors. We are humble but confident. We WILL make you a raving fan of BCOS!

BCOS was founded by Dave “Lags” Lageschulte. Lags was a diverse entrepreneur with experience in the following industries: Heavy Equipment, Restaurants, Health Clubs, Professional Sports, Automotive, Environmental Engineering, Health Care, Casinos, and Renewable Fuels. Lags was very active in the community. He led fund raising efforts for Stop Hunger Now, Self Help International, The Moffitt Cancer Center, and his Alma Matter, Morningside College. Lags passed away in March of 2014.

BCOS is currently owned by Chris Speake and Nick Cross

Chris has a diverse background in science and business management. He has experience in automotive, alternative energy, fuel additives, and restaurant supply. Chris is originally from Minnesota, but now resides if Fort Myers, FL with his wife and three children. Chris became a partner in BCOS in October of 2013

Nick has lived in South Florida for over 30 years. He has extensive sales experience both in real estate and in business to business settings. Nick is active in the community. He participates with the Greater Fort Myers Chamber of Commerce. Nick lives in Fort Myers, FL with his two teenaged daughters.

Our Mission

One of the most significant and major waste materials in America is used vegetable oil and cooking grease. For years used vegetable oil from restaurants was dumped into sewer systems, lakes and rivers, as the cost to dispose properly was to great for most. This is a huge and unnecessary environmental problem that still effects us today and happens all across South Florida and the United States. Used cooking oil has endless possibilities for renewal, including bio-fuel. Today you can not only safely dispose of your used cooking oil, but get paid for it as well.
We service accounts including major chains, mom and pop operations, and restaurants of any size. We are growing rapidly to fulfill the needs of our customers. We begin our process by providing each restaurant with a properly-sized, leak-free container from 55 gallon to 350 gallon container depending on the volume of the restaurant. During our regularly-scheduled collection service visits, we safely empty the containers in a clean and efficient manner. We are in full compliance with current state, federal and local laws and regulations. The empty containers are thoroughly inspected for damage, and replaced with a new container, if necessary.
