Our History

Scott started working as the IT person for a real estate market research company.  This was before there were floppy drives!  He helped this company and others with real estate companies through a dial-up modem connecting to a mainframe computer.

Scott was a computer coordinator for 12 years in Denver Public Schools, helping both teachers and students learn how to use them and solve computer issues.  That’s where Scott learned to help people achieve their goals with a very limited school budget.  He spearheaded the first proposal for any school to receive grant money to implement technology at an inner-city school.

In 1999, he could no longer juggle full time at DPS and 1,400 personal home and business clients, so he quit DPS and worked full-time with his new company, “Practical Internet Training and Consulting”.   Holding classes in his basement became a little crowded with his wife and 2 children, so Onsite opened a storefront at a busy intersection in South Denver.

In 2019, they started purchasing and refurbishing computers with a high-speed drive and warranty.  They opened a showroom and help get fast and reliable computers in the hands of families, business and ministries in Niger, Nicaragua, Juarez, the Congo and Haiti.

Now, Onsite helps over 14,000 clients across the United States. Their main office is in Denver, and they have full-time technicians in Albuquerque, New Mexico, Virginia Beach, Virginia, Orlando, Florida and Daytona Beach, Florida. They developed a process to transfer everything including settings, printers, and programs from one computer to another so the customer has very little frustration with their new computer. They have streamlined processes to have a 2-business-day turnaround for 95% of computer issues, compared to 4 weeks at their closest competitor.
