Michigan E-waste provides a sustainable e-waste solution to Michigan businesses, municipalities, nonprofits, churches, and indivuduals.

Under our brand name Castaway Recycling, we provide communities with public drop-off events for thier broken or unwanted electronic waste items. (For event scheduling, please shoot us an email).

Using our internal processes, we recover plastics and rare earth metals, preventing the misuse of our Michigan landfills, while creating jobs and giving back Michiganders and their offices some of its closet space. In the calendar year 2022, we prevented an average of 98% of the gross waste weight entering our facility from entering a landfill.

Vision

The problem is simple- the United States alone produces 6000+ KILO TONS of e-waste annually. Thats a huge problem to tackle- a problem not enough people are batting an eye at.

With a good bit of research, we've found a sustainable way to cut away a chunk of the problem, and in the process produce clean metals and reusable plastics. Evem better, the service we offer in turn creates new jobs for Michiganders, and helps to promote keeping a #pureMichigan.
