Spicewood Land Clearing

Spicewood Land Clearing is a full service, excavating, grading, demolition and site clearing company in both Residential and Commercial applications. Owned and operated by Eric Johnson who has an engineering degree and over 20 years of industry experience. Some of our services include cedar, mesquite tree and brush clearing, rock milling, concrete/rock breaking and haul off, field and fence line mowing, dirt/gravel delivery and installation, demolition and just about anything else that can be done outdoors with heavy equipment. We are licensed, bonded and Insured.

Our Story

The owner Eric Johnson graduated from Kansas State University with a bachelor’s degree in Construction Science and Management in 2005. After working in the commercial and industrial construction industry on projects over $75 million he created Spicewood Land Clearing.

The company’s vision was to bring the large scale, cutting edge construction technology to a smaller customer-oriented company. In the Spring of 2009 the owner was working for a large general contractor and had different views of where the company could go. The owner created his own company and started off doing small hauling and grading jobs and kept getting more and more larger jobs. The plan is not to grow into a big business but stay a manageable size to better accommodate our customers.
