Wood County Waste

173 Cumberland Rd., Parkersburg, West Virginia, United States | Waste Management

Two Generations

“Wood County Waste is part of my family’s story. It all started in 1965 when my parents founded Harold’s Refuse Removal. I jumped in at 19, eager to be part of the work they cared so much about. Over the years, we’ve taken on other family-run waste services, keeping them in trusted hands and continuing their legacy.

In 1987, with my family’s support, I started Wood County Waste. Decades later, we’re still growing, and now my son is preparing to take the reins when the time comes.
