Scrapwire and Cable opened its doors for business in 2006, establishing a home base in Frederick, Maryland.

While the company is still very young, its owner has been in the scrap Industry for over 25 years. Since its beginning, Scrapwire and Cable has earned a reputation as an innovator and pioneer in the industry. Our customer base has grown from a couple of electricians in Frederick to servicing the entire Tri-State area. We will continue to saturate the Tri-State area, with a goal of expanding to the entire Northeast area of the United States. In doing so, we hope to leave a positive footprint on the industry as well as the environment. While striving to reach the top, what is important to us is the legacy we leave behind.

Scrapwire and Cable specializes in copper wire which allows us to pay a premium for your material. We receive, process, and resell a wide variety of copper materials, understanding that customers are our business. We take great pride treating you right. Pick Up

Scrapwire and Cable is a company that offers a great alternative for all your scrap wire and cable needs by eliminating the hassle of delivering it to your local scrap yard. Pick up service is available at your business, jobsite, or any location that is most convenient for you. Each of our trucks is equipped with a 5’ X 5’ digital electronic certified scale, so the most accurate weight of your material is guaranteed.

Scrap Wire and Cable knows that scrap is a very complex item that requires different ways of handling and packaging. We are sure that we could be an asset to your company and would love the opportunity to prove it.

Walk In

We have a team waiting for your scrap. You pull in and we take care of the rest. We know that your time is very important, so we will do our best to get you in and out in a timely manner. As soon as you pull in, we will begin to unload your material. All material is then weighed on a digital electronic certified scale, so the most accurate weight of your material is guaranteed. Once the material has been weighed, we will then complete your transaction by paying you TOP DOLLAR for all materials received. Once you have given us an opportunity to earn your business, we are confident that you will return. We look forward to doing business with you for years to come

Interior Demo/Tear Outs

Let us help you with your new renovation, retro fitting and demolition projects. Why handle your scrap material twice, if you don’t have to? We have a team that comes to the jobsite and will remove the material for you. Agreement on pricing for the wire and the job will be on a case by case basis.
