In 2010, RES Water opened a custom-built water plant designed to eliminate or treat metals, salts, and oils associated with wastewaters from Marcellus Shale gas production. Today, RES operates four companies in three counties serving the entire western PA, West Virginia, and Ohio region with a variety of recycling, disposal, solids remediation, and transport solutions tailored to each of our clients’ individual needs, 365 days a year.

RES Water has multiple facilities to treat, recycle, and reuse large volumes of waste water from the oil and gas industry. We do this environmentally friendly – with zero discharge and 100% of treated water returned to the field. Our facilities safely and environmentally provide the overall water demands for hydraulic fracturing, and fulfill client’s 24/7 disposal, recycle, and freshwater needs.
