MARC was founded in 1976 by Marilyn Ortt and Caroline Putnam. It operates with Rural Action as the fiscal agent and has non-profit 501(c)(3) status. It is the oldest volunteer recycling center in the State of Ohio.
Mission
To provide a recycling opportunity to residents of the City of Marietta, Washington County and surrounding areas so that as many materials as possible can be diverted from our landfills.
