MO GLASS UPCYCLE, LLC is a local operation located in Rocky Mount, MO. collecting glass, aluminum and corrugated cardboard. Two primary goals: material collection which promotes landfill diversion and increase knowledge in our communities of upcycling through awareness and education.
FACTS
Camden, Miller, Laclede and Morgan counties produced over 15,000 tons of glass which was transported out for disposal.
In 2021, each American on average used 650 pounds of paper which is 100 million tons of wood that could be saved if that paper was recycled. Americans used over 80 billion soda cans along with 11 million tons of glass jars. Through our operations, we will be able to collect a large percentage of glass, aluminum and cardboard found in our local waste. Thus, allowing for an estimated reuse and recovery of 180 tons of cardboard, 16,875 tons of glass and 8 tons of aluminum per year.
