As of July 27, 2017 the National Tire Recycling Group (NTRG) became the new Owner of the existing abounded tire recycling site 'Cutting Edge' and have committed to recycle tires and rubber waste left by previous company
In 5 years NTRG recycled 5,378 tonnes of program tires ( car/truck tires) for ARMA (Alberta Recycling Management Authority) and 7064 OTR/mining tires
(each tire weight aprox 5 tonn)
The company was incorporated at the end of 2016 and has operated since by its founder. NTRG has a strong desire and commitment to the local community of Ponoka and Albertans
