RUREX STEEL dr Otto Kukla GmbH

Founded in October 1949, the company RUREX-STAHL Dr. Otto Kukla GmbH celebrated its 70th company anniversary in 2019. Initially active as a consulting trading company in the steel sector, RUREX-STAHL has now developed into a global producer of machines and parts for the glass industry.

With around 17 employees at the Gelsenkirchen site, e.g. Currently generates annual sales of approx. 4 million euros. The export share is over 80%, of which over 70% goes to non-EU countries.

RUREX-STAHL is a technology leader in the development, manufacture and commissioning of solar glass, cast glass and profile glass manufacturing plants.

For the hollow glass industry, RUREX-STAHL supplies wear-resistant and heat-resistant shear blades and spare parts worldwide, in many special shapes, specially developed for high-performance IS machines.

RUREX-STAHL is also a producer of complete or partial components for glass recycling plants.
