LCW Supercritical Technologies

LCW Supercritical Technologies was founded in 2014 by Dr. Chien M. Wai

The company specializes in developing and custom-designing novel green technologies including supercritical fluid extraction technologies for environmental remediation of toxic metals and recycling valuable materials. Recycling rare earth elements and precious metals from electronic wastes (urban mining) is one application of LCW extraction technologies.

LCW has also developed a highly efficient, robust and low-cost polymer fiber adsorbent which is capable of removing various toxic metal species from water. The LCW fiber adsorbent can be used to remediate industrial waste water, clean-up contaminated waterways, and remove toxic metals from drinking water.
