A 4th generation asphalt paver, Chad Buck’s family has been providing Toledo with the best in asphalt paving since 1947. The first family owned company, Buck Asphalt Pavers, began in 1950 and was founded by George Buck and his two sons, George Buck II and Bob Buck.

The company focused on paving asphalt driveways and small parking lots until 1984, when each of George’s grandchildren had grown enough to take control of the company. Carrying on the family business, George Buck II’s sons started their own company called Allied Paving Co, Inc. while Bob Buck’s sons, Mike and Mitch Buck, started their own company called Buck Bros Asphalt, both of which continue to operate successfully today.

Growing up in the business, Chad, Mike Buck’s son, realized there was an opportunity to provide maintenance services to asphalt owners.

Believing he could provide a quality job and service to customers in the Toledo area, servicing some of the same driveways and parking lots that his father and grandfather had installed. In 1997, Chad created Buck Brothers Asphalt Maintenance, a specialized service dealing with the seal-coating and crack filling of driveways, parking lots, and athletic surfaces like tennis courts.

Today Buck Brothers has grown considerably, being voted as one of the Top 100 seal-coating companies in the USA by Pavement Magazine in both 2002 and 2003.

In recent years, recognizing the need for a quality commercial and residential asphalt paving contractor in the Toledo area, Buck Brothers expanded their services to include paving and repaving of asphalt.
