The company JRK was founded in 2010, with the mission of improving waste management by reducing the amount of mixed municipal waste, preventing its creation and increasing the rate of sorting . From the beginning, we put emphasis primarily on cooperation with municipalities, catering establishments and individuals. Thanks to this, we jointly contribute to the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals.

We believe that the steps we take TODAY contribute to positive change and improve waste management . All our products and services contribute to reducing the amount of waste or disposable products. We give an opportunity to people on the labor market who want to work on something that gives them meaning and participate in the development of society in a significant way.

We are a long-term partner and professional supplier of innovative products and technologies, SMART systems and information campaigns for hundreds of municipalities. In 2016, we received the prestigious VIA BONA SLOVAKIA award in the Green Company category for a responsible approach to business and corporate philanthropy.

Since 2018, we have successfully implemented ELWIS electronic waste records in Slovak municipalities , which has become a management tool for managing waste management for cities, municipalities, collection yards or collection companies and will enable the municipality and citizens to obtain a transparent overview of waste production.

In 2020, we again won the VIA BONA SLOVAKIA award in the Green Company category for the ELWIS system . The municipality of Košeca, which was one of the first to implement the system, received the 2019 Official Act of the Year award in 2019 . In addition, the municipality also fought its way into the best European projects and won the prestigious award The Innovation in Politics Awards 2020 in the 'Digitalization' category . Other satisfied customers and awards were not long in coming. In 2021, we won the ATLAS award for the ELWIS SMART system, which was announced by the VÚB Banka Foundation. We succeeded in the European Award for Business Support 2021, and became the National Winner in the Support for Sustainable Transformation category. In the final, we placed in the top three of the best European projects.
