Founded by Herbie Langford over fifty years ago.

Today Langfords Car Spares is a modern car breakers and ELV re processors, run by Herbie's sons Robin and Paul Langford. Langford Car Spares is a vehicle recycling company, collecting scrap or unwanted cars from the Dorset, Somerset & Wiltshire region of the South West.

Since 1948 Langfords Car Spares has established and built a very respectful reputation that we are proud of to this day. We are fully licensed by the DVLA and Dorset Council to deal with both unwanted and end-of-life vehicles and we adhere to their strict regulations. The whole process is fast, efficient and legal. We are capable of removing all types of vehicles – cars, vans, buses, lorries and motorbikes. Langfords has ATF status (Authorised Treatment Facility). This is regulated by the Environment Agency. Langfords Car Spares is also a supporter of responsible recycling.
