The history of mechanized expanded polystyrene (EPS) packaging began in 1997 by Alberto Jarque, father of Eva and Alberto JR. Jarque, the adventurous sons who have managed to shine the knowledge and great experience of their father, throughout all these years and positioning themselves at very high levels of quality and precision in all kinds of personalized solutions for their recurring clients.

This company, Novapol Expanded Polystyrene Packaging comes from Alaquas , Valencia . Embalajes-Novapol was created in 1997 by our father Alberto Jarque, a man with vision and a great desire to learn and experiment.

Why, our father Alberto, founded an Expanded Polystyrene Packaging company in Valencia (EPS)?

Alberto worked for many years in a German toy company where mechanisms, motors, etc. were manufactured and invented. (All a novelty in those days). Unfortunately, the company reached a point where it had to close and Alberto was left without a job.

Shortly after and in a time of inspiration for new adventures, he got a job in an Expanded Polystyrene Packaging factory (the so-called white cork ) and fell in love with this curious, reusable and versatile material.

Alberto really enjoyed his time in the company learning everything about Expanded Polystyrene (EPS) but as it has happened to many of us, he decided to leave at the time. He wanted to go further; His creativity and entrepreneurial soul led him to launch his own business.

In the midst of the crisis of 2008, our father retired and the time came; Eva and Alberto Jarque JR. taking the reins of the business to honor our father.
