EGGER Recycling

EGGER attaches great importance to recycling. Up to 30% of the wood we use in our particle boards consists of recycled materials. EGGER only uses old wood materials that comply with regulations and testing systems, such as furniture, pallets, wooden packaging, construction and demolition wood. In addition, the materials are visually inspected in our facilities and the contaminated wood materials that will be used thermally are separated.

The EGGER Group has its own Timberpak recycling plants in Great Britain, Germany and Romania. Suitable old wood materials are recycled in these facilities and used in particle board production. In addition, the abundant by-products and residues generated in these plants are converted into materials by EGGER or used in the production of heat and ecological electrical energy.
