The MÉH (our name comes from the abbreviation of By-product and Scrap Recycling) company was established in 1950 with the goal of creating value from the valueless. After the revolution in 1990, only the MÉH in Northern Transdanubia and Northern Hungary managed to hold up. As a result of a merger, MÉH Zrt. covers the activities of these two companies, under 100% in domestic ownership. As the oldest player in the domestic recycling market, we are present in every material flow, may it be recyclable, non-recyclable or hazardous waste, residential collection or services provided to industrial companies. Annually we collect and process over 200.000 tons of scrap in accordance with the environmental standards. As one of the largest operators in the domestic environment industry, we are members in several professional organizations, aiming to serve the domestic environment protection.
