History
Better Containers was started by Lindsley Burlingame's in his basement in 1945 with a small bag machine and the help of his son-in-law Eugene Christie. It was incorporated in 1947 in Illinois and has grown into 50,000 square feet of production facilities located in Hillside, Il. Today Better Containers is owned and operated by Mr. Christie's four sons. They apply the same business ethics and emphasis on excellent customer service that has been passed down through the family. None of this would have been possible without the excellent efforts of the hundreds of employees from the past and present. With these dedicated employees Better Containers is poised to continue to supply your needs NOW and into the FUTURE!
Capacity
Better Containers has sufficient extrusion, flexographic printing and converting capability to manufacture all of your plastic bag needs. We have been designing and manufacturing many varieties of plastic bags for over 65 years. Our design staff has over 100 years of plastic bag designing and manufacturing background.
