Our history

Family business exists since 1920

Founded in 1920 by Mr. Berges, on the Barcelona side of the canal, the BERGES company began in the recycling of iron and used metals.

In 1958, the company which became Ets BERGES & Cie, completed its activity with the distribution of new iron to locksmith and ironwork professionals, in new premises on rue Brouardel, in Toulouse.

The BERGES company then developed in reused iron from the 1970s on its current site Chemin Prat Long, still in Toulouse.

In the mid-1980s, Mr. Berges' granddaughter took over the management of BERGES & Cie and brought together its Chemin Prat Long sites and the activities of iron and metal recycling, reused iron and new iron.

In 1990, Les Ets Berges & Cie built a new building, the building currently in use, with the final destination of the sale of new iron and hardware for professionals and individuals.

Today, Ets BERGES et Cie perpetuate the tradition of selling new and used iron, and maintain the values ​​of quality of service and proximity.
