June Avfall och Miljö AB

June Avfall och Miljö AB is a company jointly owned by the municipalities of Jönköping, Habo and Mullsjö. We help almost 162,00 municipal residents with garbage collection, sludge emptying and sorting farm operations.

We collect waste from a total of 30,000 residential households and 38,000 apartments in our three municipalities. In total, we empty 1.5 million bins and 7,500 sludge wells a year.

When we have collected your waste, we drive the residual waste to incineration, where there will be heat and electricity. The food waste becomes biogas and biofertilizer.

Today, most of the waste can be sorted and left for recycling. You can put packaging, newspapers and small batteries in your bin if you have a collection close to the property, FNI, or leave it at a recycling station. You leave bulky waste, hazardous waste, electrical waste and large batteries to the sorting yard
