Techemet is a smelter and recycler of platinum group metal scrap. Headquartered in Pasadena, Texas, our main function is the recovery of Platinum (Pt), Palladium (Pd) and Rhodium (Rh) from scrap automobile catalytic converters and spent petro chemical catalyst. Initial work on our smelter was started in 1987 and full scale production at our original facility began in 1989. We have grown in capacity and expertise to the point where we have become one of the foremost recyclers of PGM bearing catalysts in the world.
