Southern Core Recycling (SCR) started in 1989. It is located in Houston, Texas. The company’s original model was consistent with most core companies of the late 80’s and early 90’s. The owners had many years of experience in the automotive industry along with a solid base of customers. Over the years diversification played a huge part in their growth. As the customer base grew so did the available inventory of specialized metals and materials.
